Review on Fog-Resistant Mirror with 2 Water-Resistant Strips (BATH15-ES) - Damage-Free & Organized by Caryn Adams

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The resistance (mist) failed

The mirror worked during the first shower. That's all. After the first shower, the mirror has looked like the picture in every subsequent shower since I installed it a week ago. I've tried decreasing and increasing the amount of steam during different showers by adjusting the water temperature, but it makes no difference. Lots of steam fogged up the mirror. I didn't want to touch the mirror if it had a coating but since it didn't work I resorted to spraying water on it and rubbing it with my hand - it fogged up immediately. It was pretty cheap and looked good so I keep it to myself and put conditioner on it like I did with the mirror that replaced it. I think technically "fog shield" doesn't mean "fog shield". It's as good as my cheap plastic dollar store mirror, except for unfulfilled expectations. It's also a decent razor holder and using picture hanging strips is a good idea and makes it easy to remove and reposition. Command's experience is hanging things, not mirrors, so I bought it with a little hesitation. I love every other Command product I've purchased so they still have a great track record for me.
