Beautifully finished. Ideal for Crane Skywave and Skywave SSB radios. Offers excellent protection. Doesn't have much room to store headphones, spare batteries etc. The only problem is this: the radio comes with a shortwave antenna in a plastic slip-on case. It fits in the storage but the storage space is too thin for the thickness of this plastic item. With the radio in its compartment and the antenna in the storage item, it's like an overstuffed suitcase: you can zip it shut, but there's pressure squeezing the radio and antenna together. Aside from not wanting the radio to be pressurized, this often results in the power button being pressed and turning the radio on when in the case. Leaving the antenna out of the case is quite satisfactory. But I don't want to lug around two things (radio in the suitcase and a separate antenna).
