I dared and it was worth it. Packaged very nicely, appears to be of high quality and worked straight away with my work laptop, a Dell running Windows 10. My screen is a little smaller than intended but I was able to use the monitors with no problem. I connected one cable to the USB-C port and HDMI to the other. I also had to plug a USB Type-C into an outlet and a monitor with HDMI to power it. The instructions point this out and show several ways to connect. It's a bit more expensive compared to a standalone external monitor, but it's super cool, it connects to your laptop and gives you a triple screen configuration. Indispensable for productive work!
