I bought this set a few months ago and have just used it for the first time for my niece's graduation present. My gift was just a small book with a card in it, and I chose a roll of orange ribbon. This is by far the most beautiful band I have ever seen or used. (That's probably why I've never written a band review before. But I've reviewed mechanical pencils!) It's almost like jewelry. Gold threads mixed with an adorable base color give the product a magical look. I didn't have to wrap the book in paper - I just tied the ribbon around the book itself and it was a nice presentation. Over the years I've used the same boring pharmacy tapes for Christmas and birthdays. Now I know they have an odd effect when gifts are made in a slightly boring "same" subtle way, like I always shop at drugstores or something. I think gifts should really please both inside and out in an original way. Regardless of what the recipient realizes, applying such a touch is the culmination of thought and effort, at least for me. Different rolls of colors and styles (like satin or gauze) add up to 7 or 10 yards per roll, depending on the roll. Pretty generous so you don't run out after a wrap or two (my pet gets annoyed with other bands). Other colors suit many other occasions. An amazing finishing touch to a gift that meant so much to me and hopefully to her too.
