I took a chance before spending 10 times more on a name brand network tester. It's not Fluke, but not that bad. It looks cheap and the body is weird. prone to breakage in my opinion. As for testing. The wiremapper feature works great and all the extra remotes make it very handy. The scan function (sound) works great and seems to work fine even when the other end is connected to the switch. The pair length functions work. but the accuracy is far. It states that 1 foot of cable equals 1 meter. In some situations where the Keystone/RJ45 connector was bad, this caused erratic results. sometimes it was said that all pairs run 3-4 meters for 50 meters. Checked correctly once I replaced the jack. One annoying thing: it always starts in metric units. You can change it to ft but it will be forgotten next time you turn it on. The port flash function works. but it is in a different port. And there isn't enough feedback. It takes 15 seconds for the link to appear. Not bad for the price. Although I'm not optimistic about durability. The battery cover breaks or gets lost because every time I take it out of my pocket it gets stuck somewhere.
