Review on 🏄 15FT Black Pair VAMO SUP Kayak Surfboard Surf Rack Tie Down Straps by Adam Jenkins

We were pleasantly surprised by the VAMO mounts. I hate ratcheting because I have a little hobbit, and anyone little knows that standing on tiptoe in the scorching heat and fumbling with a multi-strap tie-down is tough when you're four hours on the water was. I've always used Thule cam buckle straps because that's what I found out first and it worked. When our Thule straps disappeared I refused to buy them again because they are insanely expensive. I found them and we were very happy to see that they are basically the same. In addition, VAMO has improved the coating of the Thule buckle. I prefer VAMO belt buckles because they are not as bulky. I've always been concerned about the buckle cover on a Thule harness pressing against the cam buckle and loosening the straps. These VAMO straps are as wide as Thule straps. We bought four straps because they are so economical and we can use two on each of our kayaks to attach to the car roof. Also, I appreciate the extra length on them. Best of all, there are extra lengths of dohiki that you can wrap the ends of the strap into. With Thule straps I had to put them in the car otherwise they would bang against the sides of the car and when in the car they would soak water into the car which isn't very pretty. These are great straps and I'll probably buy more to have on hand.
