The light looks good and the different settings give flexibility. HOWEVER the settings are not saved if you turn the power off and turn the light back on making the light completely useless for a timer. On a timer (or when the power is cycled off and on again) the displays for each setting will reset to the default operating pattern, which is the worst possible default setting! can only be spliced to other light sources with the same barrel end cap. you can see in the photo) are not affected at all by the rain.
