I bought these to replace my cat scratching posts. (One of my cats just likes to use cardboard scratching posts.) The price is great! Unfortunately the star had to be removed. They were too small to fit in the scraper. I had to cut one of the cardboard pieces to fill in the empty spaces so it would fit snugly. I glued the pieces together and they held up very well. They don't pop out or come loose when my cat scratches them. Although they didn't fit and took some effort to get them working, the price justified the purchase. I will buy them again if I need more replacements.
