Review on ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ Columbia Men's Peakfreak Venture Waterproof Hiking Shoe: Unrivaled Performance for the Adventurous by Jeff Rhodes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent grip and feel.

I've had them for a few days now and they're already wearing well. I normally wear 14 4E but took a risk with 2E. Yes they are a bit tight but I expected that. They're narrow, especially in the heel area, but the upper is constructed well enough for your foot to control the side-to-side transition. This allows my feet to feel the relief unlike boots. I immediately checked the water resistance and it holds up underwater, I stood in 5 inches of water, over toe and mid (I have a low cut) and "zero 0" leakage. The rubber outsole offers excellent grip on wet surfaces. while the tread is great for traction. Day and night over the last pair of NBs I had with Vibram tires (beware, Vibram is slippery when wet). Great shoes.
