Fur. Time will tell

I have to admit I just hooked up and tested the speakers to make sure they work. Well, having said that. Here is an overview. First of all the costs. It's cheap and affordable, but expect what you pay for. Sound quality is very clear but lacks bass. Given the cost of so much power and 4 speakers, it's an acceptable compromise. Installation - it wasn't terrible. I was skeptical after complaining about other negative reviews. BUT it all depends on where you put your amp. I have a Harley Deluxe '06. There isn't much room for this thing. I decided to make it easy on myself and just stuck it right between the slots in the downspouts. Fits well and will be secured with zip ties until I think of something better. From there the speaker wire is just long enough to reach the amp and the power cord was quite long so it reached my battery pack perfectly. Splicing is a must. I cut a fuse to route the lines under the tank (didn't feel like removing the tank). I used electrical tape and ran the line through with little friction. Hooked up the built in switch (not included. 2.49 @ Auto Zone), soldered and coiled the negative lead back together and hooked everything up to power. I switched it on and after replacing the blown fuse it worked great and sounded good. Tomorrow I will attach all speakers with their placement. Speaker terminals, I do NOT like terminals, they are flimsy at best. I go to my warehouse at home and get some foam pipe insulation to use as a gasket and protect my chrome metal to metal. -2 - Minor changes needed on some components I'll change my statements slightly, this system works fine. There are 2 speakers mounted on the grilles and 2 on the engine guard. I can hear them through the engine and exhaust at 1/2-3/4 volume. The rough engine adds a bass feel to the mix. Use the rubber feet to attach. This makes it nicer. I also need a vise to hold the clamps while I tighten the nut. I'm raising my vote to 4 stars because I'm very happy with it for what I paid. Just need a few more balls behind the sound. INSTALL THE FUCKING SWITCH!
