Fairly easy and inexpensive kit. I immediately cut off the cigarette lighter plug and threw it in the trash. Wire the LED kit behind the socket for a clean installation with no visible wires. The double sided tape that came with the LED strip could have been stronger, but again the surface I mounted it on was cold (thanks to the Chicago weather). So the gluing took a minute. I hid the wires in the panel. Govee app launched and let there be light! It was installed on my 2002 Subaru Forester. I can also pick up another kit for my 2019 Subaru WRX STI.
