Review on Contoured Breastfeeding Super Soft Waterproof Maternity by Kevin King

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The softness is comparable to bamboo. Boobs don't itch anymore.

I wish I had found them sooner. After realizing that disposable pads made my boobs very itchy, I was in the market for reusable pads. I bought several different brands and found that the nocturnal bamboobies were the only ones that didn't itch me. But they are expensive and I honestly don't understand how I keep losing them. Maybe there's a thief in my washer and dryer, or maybe my pregnant brain is making me throw them out because I think they're disposable. However. Bamboo can be bought back at great expense and is easily seen under clothing. I was disappointed with the other brands of pads I found at Revain. They didn't hug the chest as advertised and weren't as soft as the bamboo ones. And then Gangels came and completely changed my game with nursing pads. The softness is comparable to bamboo AND the contoured fit makes them less noticeable AND they are more affordable than bamboo. I've included a few photos which hopefully can show how they compare. The first drawing shows how the ganglia are outlined compared to another pad that should be outlined. The second image shows how the Gangel fabric compares to the Bamboo fabric (Grangel fabric top and bottom left, Bamboo center bottom). Nightbells absorb moisture better than bamboo because they are thicker. I get easily drenched with bamboo in at least one breast, but not these. It's pretty amazing. The only thing they could improve on is the inclusion of a storage bag without a mesh. Some unbranded pads at Revain include those with their own pads and they are very comfortable. Also, I would go with more neutral colors or just all pads of the same color to make things easier. Anyway, I highly recommend them! Hope that helps!
