First impressions and installation with only one person

Two of the three boxes came together on one day, the third the next day. Boxes were 66 lbs each. Opened all the boxes and used the manual to verify no missing parts. The instructions say you need two people but you don't. It just takes a little longer not having the extra hands. A rubber mallet was handy for frame assembly to seat the legs. Heavy wall tubing explains the 370lb weight limit for this trampoline. Quality of the materials and part fit was excellent. No drilling out holes or modifications needed for anything. Included in the parts are a couple of sets of light cotton gloves. If you have some better gloves use them. I was noticing some hand fatigue by the time I got through 80 of the 108 springs so good gloves did help. I like the new design of the jump pad so it is impossible to contact the springs when jumping. The safety net was the hardest part with just one person, but not unreasonable. Initially I thought the safety net hook straps were too short. Not so, just pull a little to stretch the net and it fits just right. The protective cover was the one area that could use some improvement. The cover does fit with the safety net installed. The cover actually tucks in nicely between the frame and the net, providing some hold-down force. I believe the cover had six tie down straps, I would like more for the 15' trampoline. The tie straps are too short, you have to tie them on the backside of the support legs. If they were longer you could wrap them around and tie a bow on the front of the legs making it much easier to take off. The ground stakes are more for keeping the trampoline in place. They will not keep your trampoline from flying away in the wind. The legs are a slip fit to the frame, so a good wind could lift the trampoline up and away. I think the instructions warn you about this. I got four ground anchors and ratchet straps and connected to the frame. Start to finish was about 6 hours at a very relaxed pace. Overall I was very impressed with fit and finish. How well does the trampoline work? It has been at least 50 years since I had been on one. I don't remember it being such a good cardio workout and low impact too. I'll be getting more time on the trampoline when the granddaughter comes over to show me how its done.
