Not for us - motorcycles and weightlifting

We thought it would help us charge our two Pedego electric bikes, each of which weighs about 50 pounds without the battery. It didn't work for us, but maybe for you. First, it requires a lot of space on both sides of the loading dock to use it. It extends about four feet from the left/right end of the bike rack. If you add the length of your bike to prepare it for ramp loading, you now need a total of about 8-8 feet on either side of your car to load two bikes. The driveway to our townhouse is not wide enough to load two bikes without moving the car. If you park in a place where there is little space on either side of your car, this is a problem. Second, the ramp feels fragile and needs to be pushed very hard into the bike rack's connection hole to keep it from falling when loading bikes. Every time we put the ramp on and off it seems like we're going to break it. I could see the ramp connector breaking through a lot of use. Also, our tires barely fit in the grooves on the ramp, which requires a lot of balancing to push the bike up the ramp. We still need two to push the bike up the ramp while balancing the wheels in the ramp groove. I was hoping this ramp would allow one person to load a bike. We found that having two people, one in the front and one in the back on the bike, made it easier for us to lift the bike onto the rack and secure it. This ramp is just proving to be too bulky for us. This might work for you.
