the ramp that came with the rack was too steep for us (elderly people) and on the van the shorter one didn't touch the ground. But it's just perfect, our e-bikes just go in no time! It's also beautiful and strong. Hooray

The ramp is great. It does what it's supposed to as it's longer than what comes with the stand. I gave it a star for the price which added to the trauma of buying the rack I needed due to the weight of our new e-bikes.

This ramp is ideal for loading heavy bikes onto an easily foldable carrier that attaches to a truck or 4x4. It's easy to attach and although it's light, it easily supports the weight of a heavier bike like our e-bikes. I only wish Thule would offer it as an option when purchasing a roof rack.

The original Thule Easyfold ramp was attached to the bracket with two flimsy aluminum tabs. The tabs broke off quickly, preventing the ramp from attaching to the bracket. This bracket replaces the tabs with a plastic extension that will hold the ramp in place while you load the bike. Much better. This ramp also folds 3x for a little easier storage.

When I first installed myThule Easy Fold XT I was so excited to be able to use the ramp to load my e-bike onto a luggage rack. I am 67 years old and getting my bike onto a rack was a challenge. Unfortunately, the included ramp was too short. Luckily, an extended length (53 inches) was available. We have a Ford Explorer and it was the perfect length. Loading and unloading is a pleasure.

I like that it's made of lightweight aluminum and folds up making it very easy to store when not in use. I complain that because it's so light it flexes and flexes a lot when used to load my e-bike. It appears that most of the flexing is due to the plastic hinges. The only reason you need to use a ramp is if you have a heavy bike and then something heavier is preferable. Time will tell if it breaks under the weight of my bike (I've only used it about 4 times so far).

We thought it would help us charge our two Pedego electric bikes, each of which weighs about 50 pounds without the battery. It didn't work for us, but maybe for you. First, it requires a lot of space on both sides of the loading dock to use it. It extends about four feet from the left/right end of the bike rack. If you add the length of your bike to prepare it for ramp loading, you now need a total of about 8-8 feet on either side of your car to load two bikes. The driveway to our townhouse is…
