My husband uses it. I have no idea how to rate it myself but he said something. It's fine for the job if you just need relatively inexpensive gear for occasional use. That's not surprising, but it's not junk either, just average equipment in terms of price and quality. He keeps it around the house to check the wiring for minor problems. XXX becomes relevant? And everything he does. Like I said, I don't know what the hell he's actually doing. That being said, he said it's nothing compared to what he uses for the more complex issues that arise at his workplace (the refinery) and is expected to at least properly review everything to decide if an electrician needs to be hooked up or he and his boys can fix it. What he's spent over $400 on and will never replace a meter of this quality and performance. But it shouldn't. This is normal for a DIYer with some decent skills, but not at a professional level.
