I bought it directly from ProGrade. Ironically, I've previously used a Lexar card reader that used USB 3.0 speeds for the CF card, but that didn't apply to the micro SD port. My computer also uses USB 3.0 Gen 2 so I was pretty sure it was the reader. I haven't tested two cards at the same time. This reader does its job well, exceeding the read speeds of the micro SD cards I've tested as much as possible. A great bonus is the magnetic case. At first I thought it was a gimmick, but it's actually quite handy to mount on my Mac Pro. The only complaint I can find is that the front where you insert cards is a shiny reflective material and scratches easily. Although purely aesthetic. In addition, the supplied cable is for laptop use and slightly shorter for desktop use. All in all, this should be a good investment for a while until the micro SD card speeds surpass USB 3.0 Gen 2.
