Locks cause time conflicts.
We bought this timer to help our 7 year old girl complete a task (she loves the sense of accomplishment and independence with the 1, 2 and 5 minute timers we previously bought to have). This timer is unstable. Sometimes it blocks, causing the thread to stop completely. We need to set a backup timer, which defeats the purpose of this visual aid.
- This hourglass is mainly used for playing, it is not an accurate timing device, so there will be a time deviation. Also, please don't use anything to scratch the words on the glass to avoid the words falling out.
