This set contains the basic tools to learn how to make basic candles. Everything that was promised arrived intact, however I didn't immediately find the instructions as they were filled with something else. It should be noted that neither fragrance nor color were included. None of these were advertised so this is not a product defect, but it might be helpful to know if you are looking to make colored or scented candles. I've never made candles before but wanted to make something with all the little jars I had left. From the candles I bought and burned There was no point in just continuing to buy from it. The instructions for this set were very simple and clear. They recommend using a candy thermometer to take the temperature, but you can do without one. All I had to do was attach the wicks to the bottom of the jar with the stickers, melt the wax, pour it in and hold the wick in place with the holder while the wax hardens. I cut the wick and it's a candle! The set includes some cute little containers, but in my photo a candle is burning in one of mine. I am sure I will use the ones provided as they are good quality to be small gifts. While there isn't enough wax to make a large batch of candles, there is enough wax in this kit to help you figure out if you want to make more candles. I chose yes! I recommend the product and appreciate the opportunity to try and rate it.
