I love these tubes, they look like tubes of paint! This paste is much slimier and less sticky than regular toothpaste. But it makes sense because it contains clay, and clay becomes slimy when wet. You just have to be careful not to let it fall off the brush because it won't stick like regular paste. I haven't tried coal mint, but regular mint has. I was concerned that this is such a natural product that it might be too light on mint because I really love that fresh feeling you can only get from mint paste. I was happy to find that this is correct. Very fresh feeling, not overwhelming. I also tried it with lemon, I liked it a lot too! This is my 4 year old's favorite flavor! I don't like cinnamon, but I'm not surprised because while I LOVE cinnamon, I've never liked essential oil, and it contains cinnamon essential oil. This is the most natural toothpaste I could find without making my own bentonite clay toothpowder which I found very annoying and messy and couldn't stick to it.
