Bought a long time ago to try out a die cutting machine. Actually, I was referred to this from another site and I'm sorry I didn't do a little more research. Now that I have the new caliper I can say with certainty that it is about 1.43mm thick which is way too thick for most die cutting machines. Even using heavy duty shears for this particular chipboard is quite difficult. If you're looking for silhouette machine chipboard, I highly recommend buying their brand. I've tried several different brands and their own brand gives the best results as they make them quite flimsy. However, this chipboard isn't terrible for some projects. My biggest complaint was that the ends of the pieces were broken so they don't look pretty. As they are difficult to cut with heavy duty scissors I can either deal with broken ends or make an effort to cut them off. I've used a few to ship some products that were meant to be semi-rugged and they've worked fine for that. So for my purposes they are good for shipping and bad for crafting. I'm glad I tried them anyway. At least I found something that helps with the delivery of certain products!
