When I am running a 1080p or 2k signal. What comes out of the HDMI output (not a digitized signal) is full of artefacts. I expect the video recording to be fuzzy or full of artifacts. I don't expect the bypass signal (through signal) to be device specific. The grip is ok, but I only give it 4 stars. And I move on to another block. There's no reason why the incoming HDMI signal couldn't be split and sent with full quality and/or fidelity to the HDMI output passing through the monitor if it's not being detected.
