I race and was looking for a replacement for my G25 wheel which had fallen apart inside out. I really liked the g25 and although mine died, 6+ years of heavy use was decent enough that I decided to stick with Logitech. I'm glad I didn't. One day I saw that the Thrustmaster 300RS GT was on sale and I jumped at it. The 300RS GT is the Cadillac of clubs. 1080 degree movement, amazing peripherals (yes, get the TH8A, you won't regret it), force feedback feels real, and wheel action is extremely smooth. Some people have complained that the pedals are not good enough...about 5 months of heavy use and they are amazing...and to make things even better my g25 looked like a toy, this one does too from and also feels like a real thing. Benefits: - Excellent freedom of movement - Robust construction - Good value for money - Multiple expansion peripherals available. Cons: - Not necessarily a con, but the paddles rotate with the steering wheel, although some cars do, I prefer static paddles. I didn't give him a star because he excels at everything and that's more of a preference than a failure. Other thoughts: - Force feedback is very strong. If you plan on running it for a few hours, I highly recommend lowering it to at least 50%. At 100% running, 20 minutes feels like an hour if you know what I mean. Highly recommended, two thumbs up.
