Revainrating 4 out of 5

The camera stopped working before I could complete the installation.

I set that up first to make sure it worked. I was amazed at the excellent image quality. The whole product was made of high quality material. Nothing was cheap or flimsy. I liked that they offered the option of mounting them on the dashboard or glass using a magnetic system. I find that the magnetic sticker on the back of the monitor came off after removing it from the mount 3-4 times. A stronger glue solves the problem. Installation is pretty easy depending on how affordable your car's trim is. Personally I didn't want any wires or holes to be visible. So 2-3 hours passed. I have a Toyota Highlander and had to remove the trim from the tailgate and then remove all surrounding trim. It was easy when I saw how to do it on YouTube. Finding the reverse light wire wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be. Turn the ignition on (without starting it), put the car in reverse, set the parking brake, and then use a tester to locate the correct wire in the wiring harness behind the light assembly. Unfortunately, one day I pulled all the cables and reconciled, there was a problem with the connection. Before installing the monitor, I wanted to make sure it worked. But that's not the case! I just got "no signal". I even took the monitor to the back of the car to see if the problem was antenna related. I could get some static electricity by placing the monitor right next to the small antenna wire on the wiring harness, but there was no picture! The worst part was that I now have to remove all the cables I just installed. So I contacted customer service and they were great! Very responsive and helpful (that is, until they read my review). They recognized the problem and immediately sent me a replacement. Came the next day, I'm shocked! Also, I didn't have time to return the defective unit. I have a lot to say about the initial form of customer service and all the positive reviews. Fast response time, willingness to solve the problem simply and easily, easy to understand and communicate, this is the customer service department that will turn the problem into a solution before you even have time to whine about it. Of course I was disappointed with the quality control but the support team fixed the issue. Problem so quickly I didn't even have time to complain about it. And they contacted me to make sure it works well. Excellent customer service! At least that's what I thought. UPDATE: I'm noticing this more and more often with different sellers. They require a Stellar 5 Star Review BEFORE replacing or refunding the item/money. Although this seller was quick to replace the item, they still claim a 5 star rating. I fully understand the reason for this, but if they are selling a poor quality product I feel it is only fair to give an appropriate review. I mean, that's the whole purpose of reviews anyway. If we start giving 5-star ratings just to please the seller, then the honesty and integrity of this customer platform becomes unstable and unreliable. These statements from the seller are becoming more and more common: "Hello, you do not need to return the old product. Have you given us a 5 star rating? it means a lot to us.” Okay, now that I've told him that I honestly can't give him a 5 star rating (I gave him 4 stars but complimented the seller), he doesn't want to speak to me anymore until I return the damaged item. What can I do, I simply don't have a printer and the next UPS branch is far away.
