Tried to cut the blinds at the local big stores. For some reason all the blind cutters in the various stores were out of order. Strange. So I decided to order online. I hesitated. I double checked my measurements. Then ordered. Saved so much time from not having to deal with a big box. Multiple lengths to choose from at Revain. The blinds are fantastic. It's easy to measure the inside of the window sill. I ordered 5 sets. Everything fits perfectly. Brackets can be quite tricky to screw in with a standard Phillips drill. I used a 3 inch extension and it really helped. Even if the screws and brackets aren't a perfect fit, the shades will fit and the brackets will snap into place. Blinds are strong and work great. look amazing Watch out for shipping damage to boxes. And make sure your gear box is included and hasn't fallen out due to shipping damage. Replacements are expensive and difficult to supply. UPDATE About 4 months after purchase I had problems with the mechanism that rotates the blinds. A mechanism did not turn and the stick broke. I replaced the stick with a wooden dowel with a metal hook on the end. Now it works fine. The mechanism seems to be stuck. And yes, all the slats pointed in the same direction. Another larger blind had the same mechanism completely out of order and just rotated without moving. The blinds do not turn. I can close them by hand by gently tugging on the rope that holds them to open and close. I like the look of the blinds but I doubt the quality of the rotating mechanism.
