For anyone who has the oil level gauge on and winces like me, make sure it's not just an oil pressure sensor like mine was. If you can't or don't want to take it to your local Hyundai dealer as I haven't been able to test it, this part fits directly on the 2016 Hyundai Elantra (less than 27,000 miles) and is easy to replace. if you are mechanically inclined. After replacing a faulty OEM switch that was leaking oil from the rear (on the wiring harness side of the switch) everything was fine.
