Review on πŸ’» Samsung Galaxy S8 SM-G950 Unlocked 64GB US Version Midnight Black with US Warranty by Abhey Singh ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Money down the drain, poor quality product.

Whoa, what a lovely display. This S7, like my prior one, was defective right out of the box (it was purchased first from an authorized dealer): a third of the screen displayed white stripes over a perfectly black background. That's impossible for a regular OLED to display. No issues arose during the warranty replacement (Samsung still has great service). Up until a couple of months ago, it was all good to go. Myself. At about now is when he succumbed and cracked. After buying the case, I never took the phone out of it. Didn't ever stumble. It landed softly on a couch. There was a break on the right side. A cluster of non-functioning pixels broke off to the left about a month ago:) After just six months, the battery life has already diminished. The phone has been used for a little over a year, and it is now only functional in the battery saving mode. At the time of this review's publication, the device had a battery life of 10 hours, with 2 hours and 34 minutes of screen time, 5 minutes of conversation time, and 30 minutes of music playback. Three-sevenths of the way through, and the S7 Active from last year still has nearly 2.5 times the battery life. The addition of a Bixby button is the cherry on top. Because I was too lazy to write about her already.

Pros
  • - The screen has several unique properties and is completely bezel-less; - The speaker's audio quality is superior to that of the S7; - The device is resistant to moisture; - The camera is excellent - User friendliness (I count myself among those who find the fingerprint reader's placement to be ideal).
Cons
  • Specifics on the display (comment), battery life (6 months in), cost, and Bixby's capabilities.
