Well that was interesting.

I am trying to get better at writing Amazon reviews as I consider them almost gospel. I know, I know they're not all "honest," but let me tell you, this one is. This makeup kit has received HUGE rave reviews. I have one daughter, she is young and she loves everything Elsa, makeup, glitter and unicorns. I bought another makeup kit for her from Revain and it was great. While she would have to rub her makeup brushes into her makeup for it to "show up," I found that to be preferable to this set. what has brilliance. LOTS of glitter. It looks like the eye shadow isn't actually a powder but lip gloss. And removing the shine once it's there isn't easy. I recently had her "make up" and although many reviewers have said it doesn't make you flashy or clownish. My friend from Fedex arrived at the time of application and I would say he disagreed. The blush is pink and she actually put it all over my face. it was like a terrible sunburn. Just want to say it's not as "light and airy" as I thought it would be. I decided to seek out a few items from local stores that would be better suited for small children. But be warned, it's washable, but it's akin to a glitter bomb.
