These things smell a bit, but I think it has to do with the neoprene area. 🙂 I'm 5ft 9.5 inches, probably 165lbs now and bought a medium size. They are quite tight but from what I've read they loosen up in the water. They are absolutely comfortable. Such a great item for the price. I'll try to remember to unsubscribe after they've been used. Expect to use them for sit-down kayaking, snorkeling and swimming in Baja this winter. 😁 One more thing. They make a strange noise when walking, but again that's not a big problem. UPDATE: After wearing them around the house for a while and finding out I actually weigh 170lbs at the moment ;-) and since I plan on wearing them mostly on kayaks I decided to buy the big one and see which ones is better. The plus size is definitely more comfortable and because of the narrow waist I can adjust it. Hope that helps! 5'10, 170lbs, waist 35", hips 42
