Our 3-1year old 30-35 lb mini aussies could swallow a 3-4 inch bully stick (their favorite chew) without any problem but why push my luck! With the smaller 6” holder they now chew the bully stick down to an inch, that’s all that is wasted. We’ve had NO issues with the plastic threads because we understand they can strip easy! We also do not allow the pupkins to chew on the holder without a bully stick in it. Our pupkins are MAJOR chewers and these are GREAT!
