When I bought my Arlo, I liked that I didn't have to run cables to them. However, after several years of working with charging and replacing batteries, I got tired. My batteries last about a month, some weeks. I bought new batteries and some of them were better but finding batteries became a nightmare. The only problem with the two ends of the cable is that when you run through the wall you have to drill a big hole to run the cable through the wall. Also, the power adapter is too big to fit under an outdoor outlet cover to protect it from rain.
