I had a gaming chair that was on the floor instead of a pedestal, but then I had back surgery and it was too difficult for me to climb on, so I bought this one. very comfortable and just the right height, I was wanting to get an executive chair or racing gaming chair but they didn't look like they would be comfortable for me. I am very happy with this chair. I used audio when we first got this but the audio cable got messed up because my girls were twirling in the chair and there was cake too so we didn't have any cables connected to it now. I didn't make an armchair for the sound, but mainly for the comfort and to have it stand on a pedestal.
