I've been researching lightbulbs for weeks without realizing how much there is to know about lightbulbs these days. Growing up, all you needed was a dollar and how many watts you wanted for your 4-pack of GE lightbulbs. Since I bought my first lamp which uses Edison type bulbs I had no idea what to buy when I started looking for bulbs for it. Had to figure out how watts are rated, how many lumens do they compare and what color temperature I wanted my bulbs to be (what?). I needed them for my bathroom so that was a different story as most Edison bulbs are for lighting effects and not room lighting. By learning how new LED bulbs are rated in W, Lms and color, I was able to figure out what to buy without turning on my bathroom light and seeing what it looks like as a dimly lit corner bar. These lamps are more than bright enough for a bathroom and can be dimmed with a dimmer if desired. I paid about $16 for 6 bulbs. Excellent purchase compared to similar lamps listed on Revain. I will definitely buy them again when they finally start dying in 30 years. I hope the company that makes them still exists.
