took 2 tries (first order was empty and no receiver in it) but i finally got the RACEceiver FD1600 and tried it that night. I'm lucky the default channel is the channel my local track uses because they don't have any instructions. I put in a AAA battery (included) and am having trouble snapping the compartment cover into place, it definitely looks cheap. Finally, on a positive note, it worked pretty well. I guess I'll have to search the internet for instructions on how to change the channel when switching to other titles. Overall it wasn't a great experience but life goes on, the product works and hopefully will continue to work. In a rare move for me I bought an advanced protection plan so everything should work.
