Used this evening for the first time, all I heard was hissing every time the officer tried to speak, heard every other word, not very happy, especially for $100.

Works as expected. Very light and easy to sort in no time. I wish there were a few more instructions and a few presets, but other than that I recommend this.

I can't buy them anywhere else so I had to order here but I bought them in January. Didn't use it for racing until July. Used 3 times and no longer works. I hope it's just coincidence and these others work but I spent 100.00 on rubbish. Not satisfied customer

I used this receiver twice and it stopped working. I wore it in races, no falls, no injuries, nothing, it just stopped working. The device turns on, but the screen flickers and you cannot adjust any settings. I've heard they're the best, but my cheap $49 backup has already lasted 2 years.

Got wet a few times, thrown out of my race car and ended up in the mud a few times and STILL works! There is water on the screen, but we are working on the default channel, so there is no need to change it. There are no problems with reception and volume. Friends have been through a lot so less things happen to their friends!

Purchased Feb 2019, used a few times and now just static. A refund is not possible because it is outside the small return window. In general, I ran out of money and need to buy another one. I wouldn't recommend buying it here, going to a parts store, or ordering it online there. Very disappointed!

took 2 tries (first order was empty and no receiver in it) but i finally got the RACEceiver FD1600 and tried it that night. I'm lucky the default channel is the channel my local track uses because they don't have any instructions. I put in a AAA battery (included) and am having trouble snapping the compartment cover into place, it definitely looks cheap. Finally, on a positive note, it worked pretty well. I guess I'll have to search the internet for instructions on how to change the channel…
