I needed a shoe with an oversized toe box. When I have a gout attack, my big toe hurts and becomes tender and swollen. I order one size larger than I usually wear and XX-Wide. To my surprise, even with the larger size, the shoes still fit very comfortably when my feet are normal and don't have gout attacks or swelling. The large toe box offers plenty of space. There is enough space in the shoes to insert orthopedic insoles without having to remove them from the shoes. I am very happy with the purchase. Will definitely buy again if I need another pair.
