It could be great, but it's just okay.

Purchased to replace a leaking master cylinder on a 2005 Polaris Sportsman 400. Installation is fairly easy, problems arise as soon as you try to tighten the seat clamp bolts. As soon as he started tightening the bar, the top half of the saddle collar broke. This casting is of lower quality as it is half as thin as the original part. Luckily, the original Polaris clamp was in excellent condition and installed with no problems. There is a micro switch for cars that need it for brake lights. I do not need it. You think you can erase it, you're wrong. This switch housing acts as a holding mechanism for the brake lock pivot pin, without the switch the pin will fall out. Brake lever pivot nut is standard. Do yourself a favor and buy a locknut or you'll be in trouble down the road. If I couldn't resolve the issues I would return this item. It builds brake pressure and doesn't leak, so it gets the overall job done at a low cost.
