I am 5’9” and my measurements are 30 inch waist and 40 inch hip. I bought a size M in the dark brown and it fit me perfectly. The mid rise can be pulled up to fit as a high rise if you’re looking for that (I need a 13-14 inch high rise and this can pull up to 13) The ankles are tight and can be adjusted with the ties. The waist is elastic and stretchy and the pants have no pockets. They look and feel as expected and are perfect for my pirate costume.
