Review on X AUTOHAUX Rear Windshield Wiper Blade Arm Set - Volvo V70 2000-2004 by Michael Clarke

I bought this out of necessity as I had just bought a used V70 station wagon and the rear wiper blade was completely worn out (people don't change wipers, is it that hard?). The wiper was well packaged but 100% plastic unlike the factory wiper which I took off as you have to replace the whole arm, really brilliant Volvo engineers (I'm sure the GM staff made that decision have to save $0.55). The protective cover that attaches to the motor spindle is made entirely of plastic, unlike the OEM Volvo which is metal and much stronger. Well the plastic lever on this product is broken because it's made out of cheap low quality plastic like most Chinese products we sell for our hard earned money and they are junk. Instead, I removed the rubber blade, transplanted it into an old OEM wiper arm, and reattached the OEM assembly, which after 17 years is of better quality than this POS. Stay away from after-sales service.
