Will break when fitted Check it carefully you will see that it is made entirely of plastic where the Volvo model has metal. If they possibly used the same thickness of plastic it would have had a chance to last more than 5 seconds.

Installation went smoothly, just remember to open the screw cover for installation. Also remember that when replacing the wiper arm, the Vilvo V70XC wiper stops on the left, not on the right. It's just as quiet as the one it replaced and it was a very cost effective solution. Can't comment on durability, windshield wipers are known to last no more than a few months and rear wipers have a hard time withstanding car washes.

I bought this out of necessity as I had just bought a used V70 station wagon and the rear wiper blade was completely worn out (people don't change wipers, is it that hard?). The wiper was well packaged but 100% plastic unlike the factory wiper which I took off as you have to replace the whole arm, really brilliant Volvo engineers (I'm sure the GM staff made that decision have to save $0.55).
