To summarize: PROS* Easy setup (which is important to me). I got it up and running in about 15 minutes.* Easy to adjust to the size and shape of the screen (assuming you can easily move the projector back and forth in front of the screen)* USB plug and play indeed has works for me on the two Macs I tested *bright image on screen *can be turned off immediately *In the box was a page with a tech support phone number. I called and spoke to a technical advisor and he taught me the solution and gently suggested a better model. I want to say that they were available and answered my questions. CONS * Insufficient resolution. My application showed the computer screen while teaching users some specific applications. The text was too blurry to be read at my computer's native resolution (1366 x 768, Macbook Air 11"). When I set it to 800 x 600, it was large and clear enough to be read, but for me it's difficult to get less than half that of a computer screen - and therefore a projection screen. To be honest I haven't tried playing DVDs or streaming movies or photos or general graphics. Not being able to Reading texts stopped me from working with it any further.* Built in speakers is poor It's ok, there is an option not to use the built in speaker then you can use your own computer speakers.* No HDMI INPUT OR PRO NOR CON * It doesn't include a USB cable like many electronic devices, so you'll need to spend another $5 for the cable if you don't have a spare cable, you may also need an extender ng cable. * No detailed instructions The quick start page was enough, the manual was almost not needed, and a very extensive one is available online. CONCLUSION - Be smarter than me and understand permission before you buy. Right in the product specs on the Revain page it says "SVGA resolution (800 x 600)". It just wasn't enough for me and I really thought I could be satisfied with a cheap product since I've never had a projector before. If you only need to show a small part of your computer screen, the low price might make it very suitable for you. However, if you need to display a resolution higher than 900 x 675, this just won't work for you. Check what resolution is set on your computer to get a feel for it. On a Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences. > Displays (Then you may need to click Zoom to see the current setting.) Adjust the resolution to see what results you can expect from the projector. Anything over 900 x 675 doesn't look good on a projector screen. If you can handle 800 x 600 normally, you should seriously consider this projector. I'm going to try the Epson PowerLite 1261W widescreen business projector (WXGA 1280x800 resolution), you'll find my review there in a few days. Hope that helps. peace and good day.
