Review on Under sink filter Atoll A-550 STD (A-560E) 1/2" by Dagmara Miler ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm very happy, it really is worth buying.

Excellent osmosis. Build quality is 5+! The plastic is just super, the metal frame is strong. Truly one of the few osmosis systems that are FULLY NSF certified. Very good cartridges and an expensive cool faucet included. Compared with other osmosis - Atoll is the best! The kit includes everything for connection - and a tap with quick-release connections, and a tape and silicone. Zero claims. I tried to find something cheaper for 3-4 thousand - I understood the details, and I understood that for Atoll this is not an overpayment, but an additional payment for quality. I'm sure it will last a long time. The neighbors also have such a model, for 5 years soon. We have no regrets. I advise everyone! But due to the high cost of Pentek cartridges (set for September 2022 - 1700 - prefilters) I switched to branded Atoll for the Patriot model - they cost 470. Didn't notice the difference. With a post-filter, the patriot's coal kit comes out 1000. (Pentek - not less than 2250). So keep it up. This osmosis for many, many years! And know the signs of high-quality osmosis, I determined them in practice: a metal frame (not plastic), a pressure reduction valve (flow restriction) on the drainage hose (to save water on filtration), stiffening ribs on the flasks in full length (and so that the flasks do not glow , if you look at the light from the inside, they are thick!), a complete installation kit, a good faucet with a plastic insert inside ("hungry" water should not come into contact with metal for a long time), quick-release (non-twisting) connections on the membrane body, post-filter and from flasks at the entrance and exit. It's all there in Atoll models.

Pros
  • EXCELLENT QUALITY
Cons
  • none. can be expensive relative to lower quality osmosis
