Needs a lot of attention, not enough signal voltage, limited USB support, etc.

Sound: I switched from a Lowrance HDS sonar to this one and found I had to maximize the gain to get decent dB from this unit . The HDS is primarily a fish finder so I was confident that Fusion could handle it. Not right. The signal output voltage seems weak. Switching between inputs is still a nightmare, not to mention rocking. You need to press the select key, rotate the volume knob to enter, and then press the volume knob. Seems simple BUT the rotary knob is so sensitive that any button press other than a full press will toggle and select a different input. It took 8 attempts to get the USB and it was jitter free! Speaking of USB, this machine is extremely picky about USB drives. I bought a Samsung 128gig 3.1 and it didn't work. I tried my Samsung 64 Giga 3.0 and it doesn't work. Fusion says it's unauthorized or something. I tried a few others with no success but finally found a Gigabyte PNY 128 that worked. No iPod nano. Not a dock from Lowrance, in short he's very limited in what Fusion allows him to play. I was able to pair my Garmin watch and Samsung phone with no problems, so that's a plus. I would NOT buy again and return it if I hadn't missed the return window. Definitely disappointed.
