Broken switch

Device sounds great and everything but won't turn on the next day. You need to go to the back of the device, disconnect and reconnect the wiring harness, after which the device will turn on. So many issues that I just leave the device on with no sound the whole time so I don't have to constantly unplug and plug the device in when I need to turn it on. Too bad the manufacturer can't fix it.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Sad hardware

Great device, the best in automotive electronics

I love this alloy. I installed it on my boat along with a Rockville amp, JL speakers and a subwoofer. I like that it has zones. The volume in the zones can be controlled via the app (Fusion Link). I keep the volume low in my cabin so the music doesn't drown it out when someone is inside. The only downside I would say is that the device is supposed to be MS-RA70NI when ordering. There is no reference to "I" in the box. Did I receive what I ordered?

Excellent marine radio

This is the 5th AM/FM marine radio I have installed on my boat as others have only worn out from corrosion. It is installed in the top electronics box of a 32ft center console boat and is by far the best I have ever used. Great sound, love the options especially the music from the flash drive and connecting to my iPhone where I can control it without touching the radio. It seems very well protected from the marine environment. Highly recommended.

Great for our sailboat!

Installed this stereo on our live sailboat replacing the Kenwood unit we previously had. Love it! It was installed with NEMA 2000 and now we can control the stereo volume from the steering wheel via the Garmin chartplotter and from our phones. Bluetooth range is much better than our previous stereos. Does not turn off if the phone controlling it is moved towards the bow. The app allows you to customize your sound zones (booth, booth, etc.) and save your preferred volume settings for each zone…

Sound: I switched from a Lowrance HDS sonar to this one and found I had to maximize the gain to get decent dB from this unit . The HDS is primarily a fish finder so I was confident that Fusion could handle it. Not right. The signal output voltage seems weak. Switching between inputs is still a nightmare, not to mention rocking. You need to press the select key, rotate the volume knob to enter, and then press the volume knob. Seems simple BUT the rotary knob is so sensitive that any button press

Very good block for car and car electronics

Installed on a boat. Installation instructions and procedures are good. The setup template is good. At first I was confused by the interface, but after a few minutes I figured it out and navigating the menu is very easy. Bluetooth instantly connected to my 3rd or 4th generation iPod. The music menu from the IPOD is brought onto the large Fusion display screen. The USB on the back of the stereo is fine, but I won't be using it. The sound is very sufficient if you don't have to blow at concert…

Huge upgrade over other marine brands

I installed a 'decent' stereo on a previous boat with a different brand of head unit. Starts with C and rhymes with Adrian. This unit sounded good, but it was cumbersome to navigate through settings, channels, sources, etc. This Fusion device is fantastic. No frills menu, very easy to use, great quality, great sound. I couldn't be happier with the head unit. The only thing I would do differently is ride with a wired remote from the start. In real applications, the remote iPhone application is…

Outstanding Product and Customer Support

Outstanding Main Unit and Outstanding Product Support! Emailed seller with a question Sunday morning (no response expected by Tuesday/Wednesday) and received a response same day Sunday afternoon! our ship) after walking about 50 feet along the dock! This includes the volume controls for the speakers in Zone 1 and Zone 2 as well as the subwoofer volume! We don't use speaker level outputs (there's not enough power for our speakers, plus the cables from the main unit are tiny!), but we do have a…

Do not buy if you use apple watch for volume control

Well... I bought this device because I thought the synthesis of the marine industry was pretty premium and the price makes you feel like it's good must be quality. That was until I tried using my Apple Watch to control the volume while listening to Bluetooth music by turning the crown up or down on the watch, and you got nothing. I had an old outdated cheap Sony head unit and everything worked great until it broke. I'm really sorry I got the merge because they obviously have the intelligence to
