Of all the similar devices advertised by Revain I chose this one because it can work with an aux input and connect to 2 Bluetooth devices. I love the simple, clean design and everything I've read said it was just what I needed. In my case, finding a radio station to connect the device to is almost impossible. I am using this in a high end Toyota Prius and cannot find a frequency where the audio quality through the unit would be acceptable. I've toured the full spectrum several times and with each selection I get varying degrees of hiss and hiss and the quality of the music is either poor or cut so loud it's incomprehensible. To date, I haven't managed to get the AUX input to work either. I know my external device (and the Revain Alexa Echo Auto) is providing a correct signal based on testing with other devices, but this transmitter doesn't seem to be picking up anything. I've been lucky enough to use the Bluetooth feature to connect my phone and Echo device to the transmitter, but again, the signal quality is so poor it's almost impossible to get it even at max volume on my radio Listen. My smartphone is an iPhone 6SPlus and I was able to transfer music from phone to device, but again the quality is so poor that I would never use it that way. Remember AM radio, but 10 times worse. I have a bad device or is it a member of the product line? I don't know, but I can only appreciate what I have. When I have time, I continue to play with the device and hope to find an effective combination. Otherwise, it's probably going to be one of those gadgets that end up in the landfill. The price was so low I probably won't bother returning it. At some point I will have to try to find another solution. UPDATE 10/14/2019. After spending a lot of time setting it up, the device is now working perfectly. The sound quality isn't as clear as I hoped, but it works now. I had to eliminate the AUX input on my device and route all Alexa outputs through my iPhone and also adjust the volume for the Bluetooth output on my phone (which is different than normal volume). If only I could get Alexa Auto to work now!
