Review on ๐ŸŒธ Craft Stunning Bouquets with Origami Flowers: Expertly Fold Beautiful Paper Blossoms by Dawn Fischer

Beautiful models, good and clear diagrams

Origami Flowers is the English translation of Hana No Origami. It has a wonderful collection of flowers. Some of them are abstract and stylized, others are very realistic. As with many Japanese books, some models use scissors. Their main purpose is to create decorative borders that further define the nature of the flower. The diagrams are in the traditional style but this is a good book for beginners. It includes a full guide to reading traditional charts, and each of the models is labeled by difficulty. Beginners will quickly get the hang of stacking simpler models and building more complex models. Many models use multiple sheets of paper. The beautiful rose in the middle of the book cover reminds me a bit of stained glass roses. It's sculpted and one of the simplest models in the book. It looks like it uses multiple sheets of paper. This could easily become one of my all time favorite models. Card makers will love the elegance of some flat colors, and paper jewelry makers will also see many of these beautiful colors put to good use. Some of the more practical designs include a pair of embellished envelopes, and there's a whole section devoted to 'Practical Flowers'. I'm crazy about practical origami, in fact one of my favorite origami books is Practical Origami so this is one of my favorite sections of the book. Beautiful bowls that look like sculptured flowers are made from paper napkins decorated with chopstick cases and utensils. These are very beautiful models that are very suitable for entertainment. [I received a free review copy of the book on my craft blog Don't Eat the Paste. I have not received any other compensation and my review is my honest opinion of the product.]
