Received on Friday, installed on Monday, two blocks died by Wednesday. After five days of operation, the remaining four, no improvement was observed. I used to catch a mosquito or two at night on days of frequent entry/exit. But after installing these units, I catch three or four mosquitoes at night. During the day, mosquitoes wait outside the front door to get into the house. I don't know if these devices attract mosquitoes or if it's just a coincidence. It's very hot and dry here, so I don't think any of my neighbors have puddles of water that raise critters. One died two weeks later. The failure rate is of little importance. However, there is one positive note: It seems to work. No, this is not a "repellant" mosquito repellent, it does not repel mosquitoes. Mosquitoes still flew into the house and bit me. But after the 2nd day, the mosquito seems confused. I see it flying around but it won't sting me. Only newly flown mosquitoes bite during the day. I gave it 2 stars at first but I increased another star to 3 stars as it works. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the alarming bounce rate.
