included I bought the Rebel XS as my first entry into the "DSLR" world on the advice of a friend. I couldn't be happier! This camera does everything (and more) a novice photographer needs, and the image quality is well above what I got with my Nikon 8mp Point and Shoot. I've probably taken several hundred shots and still haven't had to charge the battery. In a word, this camera is "amazing". My next purchase is a 35mm or 50mm prime lens. Scott
