Review on Dorman 924 207 Strut Tower Repair by Kevin Abner

I ordered this product on Wednesday and by Friday it was in my hands. It's super fast shipping! Unfortunately, the item shown in the ad is not the one that was shipped. I wanted caps with 3 notches around the strut mounting nuts as shown in the picture so I poked around until I found these at Revain and placed my order. The cap I received has no cut outs but does have three 7/16 inch holes and no cut outs. This requires the extra step of removing the 3 rack mounting nuts before I can install the cover. This is a serious problem if your turret is badly corroded and removing the strut nuts will be difficult. The manual shows a cover with cutouts and does not mention removing the strut mounting nuts. I can't put off installation by sending these back and waiting for matching slotted caps, but you should know that even if the part numbers are identical, what you see is NOT what you will get. <>
