does not switch off like many other customers
I pulled the trigger fairly quickly and installed it without any problems. Right off the bat the truck sounded like a vacuum cleaner all the time (and also used a lot of power) as the fan never shut off (even when the temperature was well below 190C). After reading many other reviews, it turns out that a non-separable fan clutch is quite common on these aftermarket units. I bought a genuine GM part and it works perfectly.
